FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Oslo 2011
Holmenkollen Park Hotel Rica is an official hotel for FIS during FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Oslo 2011.
The new and modern Holmenkollen ski jumping hill is just a couple of technological perfect ski jump from the hotel. The Ski stadium and the cross-country tracks its literally in the backyard of the hotel, and we are looking forward to the big event in Oslo 24. february to 6. march 2011

New and modern ski stadium
The new Holmenkollen ski jump is one of the most modern ski jump in the world. The construction is truly an engineers masterpiece, and is a dignified successor for the number one signatur building in Oslo. The Holmenkollen ski stadium is also upgraded to meet new and modern demands from athletes, audiences, visitor and FIS.

Visit Norways most visited tourist attraction, the brand new and majestic Holmenkollen ski jump. The tourist fasilities in Holmenkollen consists of the Ski Museum, 3 shops, Ski Simulator, cafeteria and outdoor areas with a beautiful view of Oslo and the surrounding fjord and forest.
The starting platform at the top of the tower offers a breathtaking view of Nordmarka, Oslo and the Oslofjord. (opens in June or July). Holmenkollen is open for the public, but some parts are still under construction
There is only a short walk to the Holmenkollen ski jump from the hotel.

Service center at the hotel
There will be the a Service center at the hotel during the World Ski Championships. This center will serve the athletes, coaches, guests and the media with accreditation and general information. In cooperation with the the organisers of the Ski-VM 2011 we provides meeting facilities for the International Ski Federation, the management of Ski-VM 2011, the juries, team managers, volunteers and representants for the organisers.More information at www.oslo2011.no
