Conference

If you are looking to get fresh red roses in the cheeks and adrenaline pumping through your veins, we recommend a trip down Korketrekkeren, the Olympic luge track from 1952. This is a single long track from Frognerseteren down to Midtstuen. The trip takes about 10 minutes, in the speed of your preference. On good days you can easily reach a speed of 60 km/h. At the bottom of the track, you just step on the subway back to the top and prepare your self for a new run. Akeforeningen (The Luge Asscosiation) in Oslo or Tom Murstad offers professional sledges and helmets for rent. They also organize mulled wine and camp fires if required.
Although Norwegians are born with skis on their feet, we all benefit from a couple of hours practise once in a while. Ask Tom Murstad for lessons "with instructors at all levels and within all forms of skiing". They can also assist with all the necessary equipment and clothing, including transportation between the hotel and the ski resort. Tryvann Alpine Centre is located 10 minutes from the hotel and contains slopes of all difficulty levels. There is also a great new snowboard park and new lifts.
An atmospheric experience on a bitingly cold winter night. Frost smoke rises from the ground, and only the sound from the horses bells and the creaking snow, breaks the silence. The participants are warm and cozy sitting covered with plush fur blankets. The sleigh ride can be combined with a gathering around the fire. Entertainment and hot drinks can be arranged if required.
From the top of the Holmenkollen Ski Jump tower, you can experience a spectacular view! Our experienced instructors have rigged the rappel, and we are ready with the climbing harness and helmet. When on the top, there is in reality only one way down - about 50 meters ... Try the challenge of mastering both the height and your own fear. The organizer's own climbing and safety instructors provides optimal safety.

The hotel's location on the edge of Nordmarka's great woods creates a unique starting point for hikes throughout the year. During summer, these outdoor areas are ideal for cycling trips. Good well-kept trails lead into cozy cottages and picturesque ponds. There are countless possibilities for activities and meals along the way!
Rarely is the atmosphere better than when the table is set in a lavvo. Winter landscape, starry nights, torches and sleigh rides, spiced with sled dog racing and ski games. Behind the cloth walls of a lavvo you'll experience delicious dining and entertainment. We offer flame swallowing, flamenco dancing or an intimate concert with quality musicians and singers. We guarantee a unique and atmospheric event that you and your companions will enjoy.
Hotel owner Greger Faber Nielsen is found murdered at Holmenkollen Park Hotel Rica. You are divided into detective teams before dinner and your goal is to find out how he got killed and who the killer is. During the process you have to go through tactical investigations, finding fingerprints, quiz, investigating the crime scene and testing your observation skills. The highlight of the evening is the unveiling of the killer during dinner. Ali, the illusionist, is a key witness in the murder case, and you will meet him later when he will perform close-up tricks around the dinner tables.
The group are to build a raft in the fastest possible time and with simple tools only. The raft is constructed to carry two of the group's members, who will take the fleet on a real test cruise in the water. The whole team contributes during the building process, and it's vital to cheer your team mates on towards a successful test cruise and maybe a new track record.
We shoot with air guns, throw lassos and horseshoes, and much more. These events take place both indoors and outdoors. The day ends with a party where jeans, shirts, cowboy hats and boots are appropriate. We serve a buffet with authentic western food after the activities.
Experience a full-blooded military day - Welcome to Boot Camp! Participants shoot at targets, drives real tanks, overcomes a variety of obstacles in the woods and get down to business with paintball guns. After the activities there is a party in the camouflage hall, with a guaranteed good atmosphere.
With tough RIB-boats, it's all ready for a windy tour of the inner Oslo Fjord. On this occasion the experience is more important than the speed. With storytelling as the theme, you will learn many new things about the history of the beautiful inner Oslo Fjord! We travel with speed to keep the fresh momentum, and combined with various short stops for storytelling, we guarantee an intense experience on the fjord. And with the sun shining, you couldn't ask for a more thrilling and fun time. The boat ride is also recommendable on a nice winter day, as long as we stay clear of the ice ...
Looking for speed, height and excitement? Then we recommend a helicopter ride. In addition to regular flights where you get to see the Oslo area from slightly different angles, there are also opportunities for action experiences like jumping out of moving helicopters and into the water.
